a bit more about Nascar speedway tickets and the Nascar series
NASCAR runs several levels of oval track racing involving cars that look more or less like family sedans, including
the Ford Taurus, Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Dodge Intrepid. The top level of competition is the Nextel Cup series,
with drivers like Dale Jarrett and Jeff Gordon. The next rung down on the ladder is the Busch Series, a sort of
training ground for future Nextel Cup drivers. Another NASCAR series rising in popularity is the Craftsman Truck
races, usually held as a support event to either the Nextel Cup or Busch races. The Craftsman Truck "race cars"
are small pickups, such as the Ford Ranger or Chevrolet S-10. Despite their powerful engines, they have lower top
speeds than the other cars, typically, because they're not very aerodynamic.
